I ask for a $200 non-refundable deposit when you reserve the date. The balance will be due two weeks prior to your wedding day. I have convenient payment options: Cash, Check, MC, Visa, Discover & PayPal. There will be an additional small fee for using a credit card. If you just need an Officiant we offer services starting at $75.00.
In most states the couples are required to apply in person at your local county clerk’s office or courthouse. (Jackson, Clay, Platte, Cass County MO, Johnson and Wyandotte County, KS info is included on this site.)
I typically wear a robe or a suit. If you have a themed wedding I will dress accordingly.
I perform non-religious and civil ceremonies. The difference between a judge and a minister is this: A judge is licensed by the state whereas, a minister is ordained by God and the church to perform religious ceremonies, but is also recognized by the state to perform civil ceremonies. It is your choice whether or not a couple chooses to acknowledge God in your ceremony.
I recognize that people come from various religious backgrounds and cultural traditions. Sometimes the couple will accommodate both families by having two different ceremonies to honor their individual heritages. Most couples however will incorporate both their traditions into one ceremony. Again, I believe that all couples should be honored regardless of their cultural or religious backgrounds.
The Intimate package is designed to be a very relaxed experience for you. So no, you are not required to have a rehearsal, but you may add it onto your package for an additional fee.
